Trail Work

When: Saturday November 28, 2015
Where: B105 Trail. Meet at the Cindy and Shawn’s place and we will set out from there up the road a few minutes. Email mikew@sledorillia.com for the address.
Time: 9:00am – 3:00pm
What to Bring: a good pair of gloves and work boots, a spare chainsaw if you have one. ODSC will have a chain saw, 2 poles saw and we’ll have our Polaris Ranger for transportation. Also we will bring some bottled water and snacks. If you have anything orange to wear please do as hunting season is upon us. Thanks!
**Reminder we will be having a BBQ at their place around 3:00pm
***This project is brushing the B105 trail which has been overgrown for years and needs attention near the North River.

When: Saturday December 5, 2015
Where: Trail 203. Meet near Old Barrie Road and Line 11 of Oro (we will park along Line 11 and enter in through some fields…look for our Ranger and trucks)
Time: 8:30am- 4:00pm

****This project we could use as many hands as we can get. We have an excavator building us a new trail around a field…hopefully this week. We as a club have a fence row of brush and limbs to clear out to help keep us off a field where there is winter wheat planted. We have been told by the farmer if we don’t keep off the wheat we will have to pay for crop damage which we don’t want to have to do! We plan to rent a chipper for the day as there is no room to pile the brush.
