January 20th Update: Well you folks must’ve been doing your snow dance!! 🌨🤩 We received a decent amount of lake effect snow overnight from Coldwater to Orillia 🥳 We’ve heard not so much out in Oro. Our ODSC groomer operators will be working hard over the next few days to get this new snow packed down and trying to get some more colour on the ITG. Please give us some time! We’re working on it.

As always, please refer to the OFSC ITG to see where you can ride.

January 19th Update: We are finally getting a little bit of snow here in Orillia. 2-4cm or so. Talk of some more overnight so we’ll keep our fingers crossed that happens! 🤞🏽

Please refer to the OFSC ITG to see where you can ride.

Stay safe and healthy!

We had a few ODSC volunteers out in the bush today trying to fix a bad mud hole. Thanks to Brent, Mike, Laurie and Mike for the help! Now for some cold and snow 🥶🌨
Thank you to our landowners for allowing us to use their land.

Do your snow dance folks! We really really need some!!

January 15th Update: The weekend is here....wish we could say the same about the snow! 🥴 We haven’t had snow in nearly 2 weeks now but it sounds like we may get a little bit tonight. Fingers crossed we do!
If you do venture out this weekend please be careful and please refer to the OFSC ITG to see where you can and can’t ride. Remember we haven’t had snow in nearly 2 weeks. Our groomer operators have done the best they can!

Happy trails 😀

2016 / 2017 Season Updates

Were all open on the west and east sides except a couple of small areas for water issues.
With the recent wind, rain and ice please ride with caution for fallen branches and obstacles and the ground is still soft, so wet areas are lurking just beneath the surface, be aware!
The lake is being tested and will be staked and eventually open when it’s deemed safe.
Remember residential areas are a 20km/hr zone, children are playing, residents are walking dogs, and cars are pulling out of driveways….we are responsible to drive safely around them….it’s there houses, we are just visiting their neighbourhoods!
The B105 to the north River has a land owner issue, water concerns and possible construction on Swift Rapids Rd, not a great combination for this year. We’re working for the reroute watch the website for updates.
Don’t forget about the rides coming up, club rides and the Ride for Literacy Jan 28th, and the Snowmobile Ride for Dad on Sat Feb 11th!
Enjoy the trails!
