Cochrane-Hearst Ride, Feb 2011
Also the Winter Carnival PICs are coming soon...
The following are a few PICs of different events that the Orillia District Snowmobile Club are part of.
2011 Ride for Literacy, it was a great day, thanks to all those that participated and volunteered their time to put on the event!
The Christmas Parade is one of those things the club is part of pretty much every year! Many thanks to families involved for keeping the spirit alive and dedicating their hours to the sport!
In Nov of this year, we all jumped on to a bus (graciously provided by Sinton Bus Lines in Barrie) down to Innisfil for view a very impressive private collection of vintage sleds, older gear, original snow machines and related items...I have one thing to say....wow....I was more then impressed, here is a person who has dedicated a lot of time and effort in to keeping the collection going, many of the machines run, and they all look in better then new condition....wow....We would like to Thank Chris very much for allowing us to view his very impressive collection, keep up the good work!!!
In Nov of each year we try to get out to a few places to help people access the permits but also to pass on a little awareness to our sport to those that don't normally see what is being done. This year we were very excited to be able to show off the clubs new Gilbert/John Deere Groomer. A 30,000 lb green monster that should be able to smooth out those trails in no time!
